You may be surprised at how truly precise and elegant these items are. Relax your body, clear your mind, socialize and enjoy time with us. The group meets weekly on Wednesdays at 8:45 am at the church. For more information call Cindy Baratta at (352) 684-5275.
Tuesday Work Crew
On Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am men and women volunteers meet at the church to mow the lawn, weed the plant beds, prune, trim and take care of other routine maintenance. They even manage to enjoy the fellowship while keeping the grounds beautiful. New volunteers of all skill levels, both men and women, are always welcome. For more information call Chuck Woodcock at (352) 666-2970.
On Thursday morning at 11:00 am, our own Jessie Williams conducts a class on stretch and breathe sessions. She is so good at dealing with all skill levels – you can sit in a chair for the entire session if you so desire. We ae learning to relax through inhaling and exhaling….. just breathe.
ADULT INFORMATION SEMINAR (AIS)
Pastor Brockhoff is offering an AIS the last two Saturdays in February (18th & 25th). For those not aware, the AIS presents the basic teachings of the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective. The Saturdays run from 9 – 12, materials are provided along with a light breakfast.
On the first Saturday, Pastor Brockhoff demonstrates what sets Christianity apart from every other approach to God. On the second Saturday, we continue to listen to God’s Word as we explore what makes Lutherans distinct in the Christian community.
If you would like to participate, call the office or when you sign the redbook add AIS.
