The gift is a person, Jesus. Jesus not only wants to be found, Jesus wants to give you a whole new life. Jesus described the life he gives as: joyful, peaceful, and eternal.
Holy Trinity gathers because Jesus promises “where two or three of us are gathered in his name, he will be right there among us.” Jesus comes to give hope to the helpless, rest for the weary, and love for the broken-heart. Jesus comes with grace and forgiveness, mercy and healing. Jesus accepts us where we are but loves us too much to leave us as he found us.
By the working of the Holy Spirit to transform our lives we are looking to take hold of every good thing and every perfect gift that comes down from the Father of lights.
